Our Care

1. Personal Care

  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and hygiene: Helping clients with washing, dressing, brushing teeth, and maintaining overall hygiene.

  • Toileting assistance: Supporting clients with going to the bathroom, including helping with incontinence care.

  • Mobility assistance: Helping individuals move around, whether it's getting in and out of bed, walking, or using mobility aids like walkers or wheelchairs.

2. Medication Management

  • Reminders: Ensuring clients take their medication at the right times.

  • Administering medication: In some cases, we may assist in administering medications.

  • Monitoring side effects: Reporting any side effects or adverse reactions to healthcare professionals.

3. Domestic Support

  • Housework: Cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, and making beds.

  • Laundry: Washing, drying, and folding clothes and linens.

  • Meal preparation: Preparing and serving meals, considering dietary restrictions or preferences.

  • Grocery shopping: Assisting with shopping for groceries or managing shopping lists.

4. Companionship and Social Support

  • Conversation: Providing emotional support through companionship, helping clients feel less isolated.

  • Social activities: Encouraging clients to engage in hobbies, outings, or other activities to maintain mental and emotional well-being.

  • Assisting with communication: Helping clients with phone calls, video chats, or writing letters.

5. Health Monitoring​

  • Observation and reporting: Watching for signs of changes in the client’s health or well-being and reporting them to relevant professionals, like nurses or doctors.

6. Specialised Care

  • Dementia and Alzheimer's care: Offering memory support, cognitive stimulation, and managing behaviors associated with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

  • End-of-life care (Palliative care): Providing support and comfort to individuals who are terminally ill, including helping with pain management and emotional support for both the client and their family.

  • Physical therapy exercises: Assisting with prescribed exercises or rehabilitation tasks, under the guidance of a healthcare provider.

7. Administrative Support

  • Record-keeping: Maintaining notes on the care provided, including any observations about the client’s health, behavior, and progress.

  • Communication with family: Updating family members about the client’s condition and care needs.

8. Transport and Errands

  • Accompanying clients to appointments: Helping clients travel to and from medical or social appointments.

  • Errands: Assisting with tasks such as picking up prescriptions, mailing letters, or other necessary tasks outside the home.

9. Respite Care

  • Relieving family caregivers: Providing temporary care to allow family members to take a break from caregiving responsibilities.

10. Support for Rehabilitation and Recovery

  • Post-surgery or injury support: Assisting with the recovery process, including mobility, dressing wounds, or helping with prescribed exercises.
