Modern Slavery Act Statement

TCOU takes the issue of modern slavery and human trafficking extremely seriously and is committed to combating these practices within our operations and supply chains. While we are not required to comply with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we voluntarily adhere to the principles of the Act as part of our commitment to ethical business practices.

This Modern Slavery Statement is made on behalf of TCOU in accordance with Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines the steps we have taken and continue to take to ensure that slavery and human trafficking do not occur in our operations or supply chains.

Our Commitment

At TCOU, we are fully committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all areas of our business. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking in any form. We are dedicated to implementing effective systems and controls to prevent these practices within our operations and supply chains.

Our Business and Supply Chains

TCOU Group is based in the UK and operated its business in Essex, Norfolk and West Sussex. TCOU Group & it's wholly owned subsidiaries provide care services across these locations. TCOU Group works with a range of suppliers, contractors, and service providers across the UK and occasionally internationally. We recognize the potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in complex supply chains and are committed to addressing these risks.

Policies and Procedures

TCOU Group are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business and in so far as is possible requiring our suppliers to hold similar ethos. In addition to our Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy we also have Whistleblowing and Anti-bribery policies.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

In a bid to manage and assess potential risk factors, we have various processes and policies in place to help us protect whistle blowers, identify and mitigate potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within our supply chains.

We regularly evaluate the risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains.

To mitigate risks,

Over the last few years we have developed our supplier onboarding process which checks that our suppliers have appropriate policies and commitments to tackling Slavery and Human Trafficking.

Our management team are trained to look out for possible indications of slavery and human trafficking within our supply chain and through channels of communication. Where we detect any signs that may raise a flag or concern this allows us to target audits and spot checks at suppliers we feel may be of a higher risk. We have in place a policy to protect whistle blowers who highlight to us any risk of slavery or human trafficking within our business

Training and Awareness

We provide training to employees to ensure they understand the risks of modern slavery and can identify and respond to potential issues. This includes raising awareness of:

• Indicators of modern slavery.

• Reporting mechanisms for suspected cases.

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, our slavery and human trafficking policy and statement form part of our induction training and is reviewed and required to be completed yearly by all staff. .

Measuring Our Effectiveness

To monitor the effectiveness of our efforts, we:

• Work closely with suppliers to improve transparency and traceability.

• Track and review supplier compliance with our ethical standards.

• Record and resolve any reported concerns or incidents of modern slavery.

• Assess our policies and practices annually to ensure continuous improvement.

Future Steps

In 2025, we aim to strengthen our commitment to combating modern slavery by:

• Enhancing supplier engagement and transparency.

• Develop more in depth training programs for our employees.
